Privacy Policy — Planets vs Black Holes: Duel

This privacy policy applies to the Planets vs Black Holes: Duel app for Android and iOS, together with its online game server and any related services operated by Hlib Chornenkyi (collectively, the "Application"). Hlib Chornenkyi is the developer of the Application and the controller of your personal data, and is hereby referred to as the "Service Provider". Contact: 4037637@gmail.com.

Playing offline

Single-player games against the computer work without an account and without sending any personal information. No registration is required to play. Your settings (sound, vibration, language and similar) are saved only on your device.

What information does the Application collect and how is it used?

When you open the online part of the Application (online duels, slots, profile), the Application connects to the Service Provider's game server and creates a game account. The following information is processed:

This information is used only to provide the online game: matchmaking, duels, profiles, rating, friends, moderation of profile photos, protection against abuse and fixing problems. The Application contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking tools, does not use the advertising ID, and does not sell your information or use it for profiling.

Device permissions

The Application uses the Internet connection (online play) and vibration (game effects; can be turned off in the settings). The camera and photo gallery are opened through the system picker only when you choose to set a profile photo. The Application does not access your contacts, location, microphone or files.

Legal bases (EEA, UK and similar laws)

Game account, game activity and diagnostic logs you send are processed to provide the online game you requested (performance of a contract). Google or Apple sign-in and a profile photo are processed on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by removing them in the Application. Fair-play records and technical logs are processed on the basis of the Service Provider's legitimate interest in keeping the game fair and the server secure.

Where is the information stored and how is it protected?

The game server is hosted in the European Union (Germany) by the hosting provider Hetzner Online GmbH, which stores the data on behalf of the Service Provider and does not use it for its own purposes. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS). Access to the server is limited to the Service Provider.

How long is the information kept?

Your game account and its data are kept until you delete the account. Records of played duels are kept to ensure fair play; after your account is deleted they no longer contain anything that links them to you. Diagnostic logs are kept only as long as needed to investigate the problem. Technical server logs are kept for a limited time and then deleted.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time in the Application: PROFILE → DELETE ACCOUNT. This deletes your game account, nickname, linked Google or Apple account, profile photo, rating, statistics, friends and all other data tied to the account. You can also request deletion without the Application: see how to delete your account.

Does the Application collect location information?

No. The Application does not collect precise or approximate location of your device.

Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?

No information is shared with or sold to third parties. Other players see your nickname or first name, profile photo, country (unless you hide it), rating, rank and statistics. The hosting provider stores data only on behalf of the Service Provider. If you use Google or Apple sign-in, Google or Apple processes that sign-in under their own privacy policies. Information may be disclosed if required by law.

Children

The Application is not intended for children under 13 years of age, or such higher age as required by applicable law. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact the Service Provider and it will be deleted.

Data Breach Notification

No security system is completely secure. If a breach occurs involving your personal data, the Service Provider will notify you and the authorities as required by applicable law.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data, object to its processing, and withdraw consent for optional features (Google or Apple sign-in, profile photo) at any time by removing them in the Application or by contacting the Service Provider at 4037637@gmail.com. The Service Provider replies within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or the UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

Changes

The Service Provider may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The Service Provider will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Privacy Policy with an effective date. Where required by law, the Service Provider will seek your consent to material changes before they take effect.

Previous versions of this Privacy Policy will be maintained and made available upon request by contacting the Service Provider at 4037637@gmail.com.

This privacy policy is effective as of 2026-10-04
